Warranty & Repairs

What is your warranty on jewelry?

All pieces purchased from Rachel Lynn Jewelry include a limited warranty covering stone tightening and the replacement of small stones (under 2mm) within one year of receiving your piece. This warranty also applies to any defects or damages determined to be the result of a manufacturing fault. Custom engagement rings & bands additionally include one complimentary ring resizing.

Rachel Lynn Jewelry reserves the right to determine what's within the limits of warranty. Please be aware that normal wear and tear as well as the loss of center stones are not included in the warranty. To ensure your jewelry remains protected, I encourage you to consider insurance coverage. Jewelers Mutual is a highly reputable option, trusted and recommended by jewelers across the country.

Do you offer jewelry repairs?

Repairs are offered on all pieces purchased from Rachel Lynn Jewelry at a discounted rate. Beyond the limited warranty period, I'm always happy to help you in refurbishing your jewelry to a like-new condition when needed. Repair services include ring resizing, stone replacement, stone tightening, simple soldering, retipping/rebuilding of prongs, chain repair, & more. Each repair submission will receive a personalized estimate in regard to the request being submitted. Upon receiving your piece, if any additional areas of concern are identified during inspection, I will promptly notify you with details and a separate quote before proceeding with further repairs.

Complimentary Polishing & Inspection

At Rachel Lynn Jewelry, I proudly offer lifetime complimentary polishing and inspection for all pieces purchased through my website. I stand by the integrity of my work, & would love to have your jewelry looking its best at all times.
As part of maintaining your piece, I recommend an annual polish and inspection to help preserve its condition and catch any signs of natural wear. During your inspection, your jewelry will be personally evaluated by me, Rachel Lynn, owner and designer of Rachel Lynn Jewelry. If any areas of concern are discovered, I will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your item with a detailed quote for repair. Should you choose to move forward, an invoice will be sent for approval. If you decline the repair, your jewelry will be returned without any additional services.
During this process, please note that the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and any insurance required to safely send the item to my studio.
Once repairs are complete (or if declined), your item will be safely shipped back via fully insured UPS 2-day delivery. Current turnaround time for repairs is approximately 2–4 weeks.

Do you offer appraisals?

At this time, appraisals are not offered. However, all custom engagement rings and bands include a detailed Certificate of Authenticity verifying the materials, gemstones, and craftsmanship of your ring. For insurance purposes, I recommend obtaining an independent appraisal after purchase.
